How to freeze corn

Frozen Corn
by Alicia Rivoli

4 Quarts  raw husked corn (uncooked) (removed from cob)
1 Quart water
1/2 cup sugar
2-3 heaping tsp salt (personal preference)

Bring to boil, Boil 10 minutes
Dump into large cold pan and place the pan in sink or bathtub full of ice water.

Once cooled, place corn and liquid from pan in plastic freezer bags or containers and place in freezer.  (Size depends on number of servings. We use pint or quart size bags. Must be freezer bags or freezer approved containers to avoid freezer burn.)

When ready to use place in sauce pan and warm it up on stove.
